Meet Dr. Rosa F. Turner, Psychiatrist

Rosa F. Turner, MD, is a practicing psychiatrist in Miami-Dade and Broward counties in South Florida.

She graduated from the University of Florida, obtaining a degree in chemistry and pharmacy. After serving as a pharmacist for several years, she decided to continue her education and became a medical doctor specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She completed her specialty at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry in 1989 and became board certified in 1990 by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

During her twenty-four years of private practice, Dr. Turner has held medical director positions at several hospitals and adolescent units in the South Florida area, including Harbor View Hospital, American Day Treatment Center for Adolescents, and Charter Hospital of Miami, and has served as clinical assistant professor at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.

She has been very involved in her community in research projects and speaker programs and is highly regarded in her specialty.

Dr. Turner has devoted a large portion of her life to educating and helping others.
